The TriStar Trinity II is a .410 bore break-action shotgun with a 28″ barrel. The barrel is chrome-lined and topped with a vent rib. The chamber takes 3″ shells, and the gun holds 2 rounds.

A few features set this one apart from a basic field gun. The trigger is single selective, so you choose which barrel fires first. The action uses an extractor. The sights are red fiber optic, which helps your eye pick up the front bead in changing light. The choke range runs from Skeet through Improved Cylinder, Modified and Improved Modified to Full.

Looks and handling

The stock is select satin walnut, and the metal wears a silver Cerakote finish. Overall length is 45.5″. That makes it a manageable size for newer shooters and for anyone who likes a .410 for small game, upland walks or casual clay games.

The 28″ barrel and the range of chokes give you room to match the gun to the target. Open chokes suit close birds and skeet. Tighter ones suit longer shots.

For gear, plan on .410 shotshells in a 3″ or shorter length that suits your choke, a pair of shooting glasses and hearing protection. A padded case, a shell pouch or vest, and a basic cleaning kit round out the kit. Because this is a firearm, it ships to a local FFL of your choice for pickup.
