The Volquartsen Firearms Black Mamba is a .22 LR single-action pistol with a 4.5″ stainless steel barrel. It holds 10+1 rounds in a single-stack magazine, and two magazines come with it. The slide has a black anodized finish, and the grips are black Hogue.
This pistol is set up for accuracy work. It has an accurizing kit and a competition bolt. The barrel is threaded with a 1/2×28 pitch and carries a single port compensator at the muzzle. Target sights are adjustable, and an integral Picatinny mount sits at 0 MOA, so you can run an optic if you prefer it to iron sights. A manual safety is fitted. At 26 oz, it is a steady, easy pistol to hold on target.
Who it suits
The Black Mamba fits bench and range shooters, steel and target competitors, and anyone who wants a rimfire pistol with real target features. Cheap .22 LR ammo keeps practice affordable. That makes this a good pistol for putting in a lot of trigger time.
Good gear to pair with it includes a red dot or other optic for the Picatinny mount, extra magazines, a range bag, and eye and ear protection. If you plan to add a muzzle device, the 1/2×28 threads are the pitch to shop for. A few brands of .22 LR ammo are worth testing, since rimfire pistols can favor different loads.
