The Volquartsen Firearms Scorpion Mini is a .22 LR pistol with a 3″ barrel and a 10+1 capacity. It uses a 1911 style frame and runs single action. It is a rimfire pistol built for people who care about accuracy and want room to customize.
The barrel is threaded with a 1/2×28 thread pitch, so the pistol is suppressor ready. The slide has a black hard anodized finish, and the black Hogue grips give you a solid hold. A competition bolt and an accurizing kit are part of what sets this pistol apart from a basic rimfire plinker.
Optics and sights
The slide has an optic cut with an RMR footprint. That means a compatible red dot sits right on the slide with no extra plate work. If you would rather shoot iron sights, the adjustable sights are there. A manual safety is built in.
It feeds from a single stack magazine, and two magazines are included. That is handy for range days and for timed strings, where you do not want to stop and reload one magazine over and over.
This pistol suits steady range shooters, competitors and anyone who wants a threaded .22 for a suppressor. Good gear to pair with it includes a red dot optic that matches the RMR footprint, a suppressor with a 1/2×28 mount, extra .22 LR ammo for practice, and a padded range bag or pistol case.
