The Volquartsen Firearms Scorpion X PST is a single-action .22 LR pistol with a 4.5″ barrel. It is built on the VC Target Frame, which is aluminum alloy, and it wears a black anodized slide. Overall length is 11″ and weight is 32 oz, so it is easy to hold steady through a long string of shots.
What sets it apart
The slide is an LVV slide with a universal mount, and the pistol runs a Competition Bolt. The barrel is threaded with a 1/2×28 muzzle thread. That gives you a clear path to a muzzle device or a suppressor that uses the same thread. The pistol has no sights, so check optic compatibility with the mount before you choose one.
Feed comes from a single stack magazine. Capacity is 10+1, and two magazines are included. A manual safety is on the pistol, and the grips are black Hogue.
This pistol suits target shooters, steel plate shooters and anyone building a rimfire competition setup. It also works as a quiet-day range gun for practice. Good pairing gear includes a red dot or other optic, a suppressor with a 1/2×28 thread, extra magazines, .22 LR ammunition, hearing protection and a padded pistol case.
