Who it suits
.17 HMR is a flat-shooting rimfire round. It fits ground squirrels, prairie dogs, rabbits and other small game, and it works for precision plinking at the range. A bolt action with a carbon fiber barrel gives you a rifle that is simple to run and easy to carry on a long day afield.
This rifle has no sights. You will need a scope and mounts to use it. Pick rings and a base that match the receiver, and choose an optic suited to the distances you shoot. Other useful gear includes a bipod or shooting rest, a padded rifle case, spare magazines and a good supply of .17 HMR ammunition. If you plan to run a suppressor, match it to the barrel threads before you order.
