The Volquartsen Firearms VT2 Td is a .22 LR bolt-action rifle with a 16.5″ carbon fiber barrel. The muzzle is threaded 1/2×28, and the rifle is suppressor ready. Overall length is 33.5″, so it stays handy at the bench and in the field.
This rifle is built around a few clear features. The black MOE Milspec stock pairs with a Magpul MOE-K grip. A 12″ handguard surrounds the barrel and carries a Picatinny rail for accessories. Feeding comes from a detachable rotary magazine, and the rifle holds 10+1 rounds. A cross bolt safety sits on the receiver.
Who it suits
The VT2 Td fits shooters who like a bolt-action rimfire with a modern, tactical layout. It is a good match for plinking, small-game practice, and low-cost trigger time. It also suits anyone who wants a quiet .22 setup, since the barrel is ready for a suppressor.
The rifle has no sights, so plan on adding an optic or sights of your own. Other gear that pairs well includes a rimfire-rated suppressor with a 1/2×28 mount, a sling, a bipod for the rail, extra rotary magazines, and a good supply of .22 LR ammo. A padded rifle case helps if you carry it to the range.
