Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Extreme Weather is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Sprg, with a 22″ fluted barrel. The finish is matte stainless steel, and the stock is a Bell and Carlson synthetic. Overall length is 42.25″.

Set up for your own optic

This rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you choose the scope and mounts. The barrel is threaded and wears a muzzle brake. The 1:10″ twist is a good match for the common bullet weights in .30-06 Sprg.

It suits a hunter who spends time in rain, snow and damp timber and wants a synthetic stock and stainless finish. It also works for anyone who likes a plain, no-frills bolt gun in a classic big-game caliber.

For gear, start with a scope, a set of bases and rings, and a sling. A bipod helps on open ground. Add a hard case for travel, a cleaning kit for the bore, and a few boxes of .30-06 Sprg ammunition to sight it in.
