Product Description

The Winchester 70 Featherweight 6.5 PRC bolt-action rifle combines traditional craftsmanship with modern sporting capability. This rifle delivers the accuracy and reliability hunters expect from Winchester’s legendary 70 platform. It chambered in 6.5 PRC, a proven cartridge for long-range hunting and target shooting.

The rifle features a 24-inch hammer-forged, free-floating barrel paired with a controlled round feed action and claw extractor. Additionally, the hinged floorplate magazine holds 3+1 rounds. The MOA trigger offers a clean, predictable break for precise shot placement. The 3-position safety lets you carry with the bolt locked or unlocked as needed.

Classic Design and Finish

Traditional styling defines the Winchester 70 Featherweight. The checkered satin-finish walnut stock and polished blue steel create a rifle that turns heads in any field. This aesthetic appeals to hunters who value classic lines and proven ergonomics. The rifle’s weight and proportions make it easy to carry during all-day hunting trips.

The rifle ships with no sights installed. It is drilled and tapped for scope bases, so mounting an optic is straightforward. Furthermore, you will need to pair it with a quality scope, rings, and a sling to prepare for the field. Complementary ammunition choices include Winchester Match and Big Game Long Range loads in 6.5 PRC.

Ideal for Sporting and Recreational Use

The Winchester 70 Featherweight excels at recreational target shooting and hunting medium to large game. The 6.5 PRC cartridge delivers outstanding ballistics and energy retention at distance. Therefore, it suits hunters who pursue elk, mule deer, and similar game. The controlled round feed system ensures reliable feeding in varied field conditions.

Protect your investment over seasons of use. A padded rifle case safeguards the blued finish during transport and storage. Similarly, a quality cleaning kit helps maintain the walnut stock and metal surfaces. Regular care preserves the rifle’s beauty and mechanical reliability for years to come.
