Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Featherweight CMP Bolt-Action Rifle

Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Featherweight CMP is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor. It has a 20″ sporter-profile barrel, hammer-forged and free floating, with a 1:8″ twist and a target crown at the muzzle.

The action uses controlled round feed with a claw extractor. The magazine holds 4+1 rounds and has a hinged floorplate, so you can empty it from the bottom. The trigger is the MOA system, and the safety has three positions. Overall length is 39.5″.

Walnut and blue steel look

The stock is checkered walnut with a satin finish, and the metal is polished blue. It is a traditional-looking rifle, and the checkering gives you a firm hold on the wrist and forend.

This rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you can mount a scope base and add the optic you want. Plan on a set of rings, a scope, and a sling. A bipod or shooting bag helps if you shoot from a bench or the prone position. A padded rifle case is worth having for travel.

It fits hunters who like a classic bolt gun, and it fits range shooters who want a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle they can set up their own way.
