Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Featherweight Compact Bolt-Action Rifle, 535201294

Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Featherweight Compact is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.5 PRC. It has a 20″ barrel and a 39.5″ overall length, so it handles easily in a blind, in a truck, or on a steep walk.

The action uses controlled round feed with a claw extractor. The magazine holds 3+1 rounds and has a hinged floorplate. The barrel is hammer-forged and free floating, with a sporter profile, a target crown at the muzzle, and a 1:8″ twist rate. The trigger is the MOA system, and the safety has 3 positions.

Walnut and blued steel

The stock is checkered satin-finish walnut, and the metal has a polished blue finish. The checkering gives you a firm grip. The rifle comes without sights, and it is drilled and tapped for scope bases.

This rifle suits hunters who want a short, classic bolt gun in 6.5 PRC. It also works for anyone building a rifle around a good optic. Plan on picking up a scope, rings and bases that fit your choice of optic. A sling, a padded case and a supply of 6.5 PRC ammunition round out the setup. Your rifle ships to your local FFL for transfer.
