Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Super Grade .308 Win Bolt-Action Rifle

Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Super Grade is a .308 Win bolt-action rifle with a 22″ barrel. The barrel is hammer-forged and free floating, and the muzzle has a target crown. Twist rate is 1:12″. Overall length is 42.75″.

The 70 Super Grade uses controlled round feed with a claw extractor. The magazine holds 5+1 rounds and opens through a hinged floorplate. The trigger is an MOA system, and the safety has 3 positions. Browning Arms Company is the importer.

Walnut and blued steel

The stock is Grade IV/V checkered walnut. It has a pistol grip cap and an ebony forend cap. The finish is polished blue. The rifle has no sights, and it is drilled and tapped, so you will mount your own optic.

This rifle suits hunters who want a classic look with a bolt action they can run in the field. It also fits shooters who like a good-looking rifle for the range. For gear, start with a scope, a matching set of rings and bases, and a sling. Add a padded or hard rifle case to protect the walnut and the bluing. Stock up on .308 Win ammunition and try a few loads to see what the barrel likes.
