Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Super Grade 6.8 Western Bolt-Action Rifle

Product Description

The Winchester Repeating Arms 70 Super Grade is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 6.8 Western, built around a 24″ hammer-forged barrel. The barrel is free floating and has a target crown at the muzzle. Twist rate is 1:8″.

The Model 70 action uses controlled round feed and a claw extractor. The magazine holds 3+1 rounds and has a hinged floorplate. The trigger is the MOA system, and the safety is a 3 position design. Overall length is 44.25″.

Walnut and polished blue

The Super Grade name shows up in the stock and the trim. The stock is Grade V/VI walnut with checkering, and it has a pistol grip cap and an ebony forend cap. The metal is finished in polished blue. This is a rifle that looks as good on the wall as it does in the field.

The rifle has no sights, so you will need an optic. It is drilled and tapped, which means scope bases can go right on. Pair it with a quality scope, matching rings, a sling and a hard or soft case. Add 6.8 Western ammunition for your intended game and spend range time to learn how the rifle groups with it.

It suits hunters who like a traditional bolt gun, and collectors who want a Super Grade in a modern cartridge.
