Product Description
The American Tactical Firefly is a .22 LR pistol with a 4″ fixed barrel and a 10+1-round capacity. It has a purple slide, an alloy frame and polymer grips. Overall length is 7.2″, and it weighs 24.6 oz.
The Firefly runs as a double action pistol. It has an ambidextrous thumb safety, so left-handed and right-handed shooters operate it the same way. The sights are adjustable, which lets you fine-tune the point of impact for the ammo you shoot. A Picatinny rail sits on the frame for adding accessories.
Who it suits
A .22 LR pistol like this is a natural fit for learning the basics, practicing sight alignment and putting in cheap range time. The 4″ barrel gives a longer sight radius than a compact pistol, and the adjustable sights help you dial in your groups. The purple finish also makes it easy to tell apart from other pistols at the bench.
For gear, start with a few boxes of .22 LR ammo, eye and ear protection, and a range bag. One magazine is included, so a spare magazine makes range sessions smoother. The Picatinny rail can take a weapon light or laser. A basic cleaning kit and a lockable case for transport round things out.
