Beretta 92FS Brigadier 9mm Luger Pistol, 4.9″ Barrel, 10+1-Round

Product Description

The Beretta 92FS Brigadier is a double-action 9mm Luger pistol with a 4.9″ barrel and a 10+1-round capacity. It pairs an aluminum alloy frame with a stainless steel (Inox) slide finish, and it comes with two magazines. This version is CA compliant.

The Brigadier has a few features that set it apart. The slide is heavy, which helps reduce recoil. The backstrap is radiused, and the rubber grips have finger grooves for a secure hold. The magazine release is reversible, so left-handed shooters can set it up for their hand. The sights are a dovetail 2-dot setup, and the hammer is external.

Who it suits

This pistol is a good fit for California buyers who want a 9mm that meets state requirements. It also works for range days, practice sessions and home defense. At 35.3 oz and 8.5″ overall, it is a full-weight handgun, and that mass is part of why the slide helps tame recoil. The manual safety gives you an added control to learn and practice with.

For gear, start with a holster made for the 92 series and a sturdy range bag. Add extra 10-round magazines, a magazine loader, and eye and ear protection. A basic cleaning kit with a bore brush and rod will keep the stainless slide and the barrel in good shape between trips.
