Charter Arms Mag Pug .357 Mag Revolver, 2.2″ Barrel, 5-Round

Product Description

The Charter Arms Mag Pug is a .357 Mag revolver with a 2.2″ ported barrel and a five-round cylinder. It is built on a small steel frame with a stainless steel finish. Overall length is 7.02″, and it weighs 21 oz.

The Mag Pug is double action only, and the hammer is concealed. There is no spur to snag on a pocket or a cover garment, and every shot is a straight trigger pull. The cylinder uses a 3-point lock-up. The ejector rod is shrouded. The sights are fixed, so there is nothing to adjust or knock out of place.

Who it suits

This revolver suits buyers who want a compact carry gun in a magnum caliber. The rubber grips have finger grooves, which give your hand a set place to sit. The short barrel and small frame make sense for pocket, ankle or belt carry. It also works as a simple home-defense or nightstand revolver for someone who prefers a trigger-pull-and-go design.

Good gear to pair with it includes a holster sized for a small-frame revolver with a 2.2″ barrel, speedloaders or speed strips, and .357 Mag ammunition for practice and carry. Ear and eye protection are worth having at the range. A small safe or lockbox is a sensible choice for storage at home.
