The Christensen Arms MPR is a bolt-action rifle in .338 Lapua Mag with a 27″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel. The twist rate is 1:9.3″, and the rifle feeds from a detachable box magazine with a 5+1 capacity. It wears a Desert Brown anodized finish and ships without sights.
The rifle sits in a 7075 billet aluminum chassis with V-block bedding. The stock folds on a locking hinge, so the overall length of 48″ can be cut down for transport. Length of pull is 14.5″, and an adjustable carbon fiber cheek riser lets you set your head height behind the optic. The trigger is a match grade adjustable unit, and the safety has two positions.
Set up for long range
The muzzle is threaded 5/8×24 and comes with an adjustable brake. The same thread suits other muzzle devices that use that pitch. The Picatinny base has a 20 MOA slope, which gives a scope extra elevation for distance work. The rail is M-LOK, and the receiver is drilled and tapped.
This rifle suits shooters who want a .338 Lapua Mag for long-range target work or hunting at distance. Since there are no sights, plan on a quality scope and rings to fit the Picatinny base. A bipod or other M-LOK accessory suits the rail. Add a hard case, spare magazines and .338 Lapua Mag ammunition to round out the kit.
