The Colt’s Manufacturing Anaconda is a double-action .44 Rem Mag revolver with a 2.6″ barrel. It holds 6 rounds and weighs 38 oz. The frame is American forged stainless steel, finished in semi-bright stainless.
Short barrel, target-style sights
The 2.6″ barrel keeps overall length to 9.5″, which is short for a revolver in this caliber. The sights are a red ramp with an adjustable target setup, so you can adjust the point of impact for your ammunition. The hammer is external. That gives you two ways to shoot. Thumb the hammer back for a 3.5 lb single-action pull, or press straight through in double action at 8 lb. The grips are walnut with a round butt.
This revolver suits shooters who want a compact .44 Rem Mag for range sessions, hunting trips, or carrying in the field. The stainless construction is a practical choice if you spend time outdoors. A 38 oz frame also gives you some weight to work with when you shoot a heavy cartridge.
Pair it with a holster cut for a revolver of this size and a belt that can carry the weight. Stock up on .44 Rem Mag ammunition, speed loaders or speed strips, eye and ear protection, and a lockable case for transport and storage.
