Product Description
The Dark Storm Industries DS15 Typhoon Standard is a 5.56mm bolt-action rifle with a 16″ barrel. It holds 30 rounds and comes in a Copperhead Brown finish.
The bolt action is the main thing to know. You work the bolt by hand for each shot, so the rifle runs at a slower, more deliberate pace. The safety is a trigger lock. The rifle has no sights installed and is optic ready, which means you choose the optic that fits your shooting and add it yourself.
Who it suits
This rifle fits a shooter who likes the pace of a manual action but wants the common 5.56mm caliber. It works for range sessions where you want to slow down and focus on each shot. It also suits anyone who wants to build the setup around an optic they already like, since there are no sights to work around.
For gear, start with a scope or red dot, because the rifle ships without sights. Add 5.56mm ammunition, a sling, and a padded rifle case for transport. Eye and ear protection round out a range bag. Check the fit and mounting details of any optic or accessory before you order.
