Diamondback Firearms Sidekick .22 LR Pistol, 4.5″ Barrel, 9-Round, DB0500A001

Product Description

The Diamondback Firearms Sidekick is a .22 LR pistol with a 4.5″ barrel and a 9-round capacity. It uses a single-action/double-action trigger system, so you can choose how you fire it.

The frame is zinc alloy, and the slide carries a black Cerakote finish. Sights are a blade front and an integral rear, which keeps the profile simple and snag-free. The barrel has a 1:16″ twist rate. Overall length is 9.88″ and weight is 32.5 oz, so it has a solid feel in the hand without being large.

Who it suits

A .22 LR pistol like this fits plinking, paper targets and basic trigger-control practice. It is a sensible pick for newer shooters who want to learn handgun fundamentals, and for experienced shooters who want an inexpensive rimfire to run at the range.

Plan on a few items to go with it. Stock up on .22 LR ammunition, eye and ear protection, and paper or steel-safe reactive targets. A lockable hard case protects it in transit and keeps it secured at home. A basic cleaning kit sized for .22 caliber rounds out the setup. If you want a holster, confirm it is made to fit this pistol before you order.
