Heritage 92 .45 Colt Lever-Action Rifle, 24″ Barrel

Product Description

The Heritage 92 is a lever-action rifle chambered in .45 Colt with a 24″ polished stainless steel barrel. It follows the traditional lever-gun layout: an external hammer, a tubular magazine under the barrel and a hardwood stock.

The magazine holds 12+1 rounds, which is a lot of .45 Colt for a rifle this size. The polished stainless finish gives it a bright look that stands apart from blued lever guns. A manual safety is fitted, and the buckhorn sights are fixed / adjustable, so you can set them up for the way you shoot.

Who it suits

This rifle fits shooters who like cowboy-style matches, casual plinking and traditional hunting rifles. The 24″ barrel and 42.8″ overall length give it a full-size feel. If you already shoot a .45 Colt revolver, you can run the same cartridge in both guns and keep your ammo supply simple.

Good gear to pair with it includes a leather or canvas sling, a padded rifle case for transport, and a cleaning rod with a bore brush sized for .45 caliber. Add a few boxes of .45 Colt ammunition and a set of ear and eye protection, and you are ready for the range. Because it ships to your local FFL as a firearm, you can pick up your accessories at the same time.
