Howa USA Carbon Stalker 2 .270 Win Bolt-Action Rifle, 22″ Barrel

Product Description

The Howa USA Carbon Stalker 2 is a .270 Win bolt-action rifle with a 22″ cold hammer forged barrel. The barrel has a 1:10″ twist and a 1/2×28 threaded muzzle, so it is ready for a suppressor or a muzzle device that uses that thread.

The stock is carbon fiber wrapped, and the metal wears a Tungsten Cerakote finish. Length of pull is 13.37″ and overall length is 41.5″. The action is fed from a hinged floorplate magazine that holds 3+1 rounds. A 3 position safety and the HACT trigger round out the controls, and the large integral bolt handle is easy to find and work with gloves on. Howa also backs the rifle with a sub-MOA guarantee.

Built for the field, set up for your optic

This rifle has no sights. It is drilled and tapped, so you mount the optic you want. A good scope and matching bases are the first things to add. After that, think about a sling for long walks, a bipod or shooting sticks for a steady rest, and a suppressor if you want less muzzle blast.

The Carbon Stalker 2 suits a hunter who wants a .270 Win for deer-sized game and open country, and who likes a threaded barrel from the start. It also works for a shooter building a custom hunting setup around a bolt gun with a hinged floorplate and a short magazine.
