Savage Arms Stevens 555 Trap 20 Gauge Break-Action Shotgun, 30″ Barrel

Product Description

The Savage Arms Stevens 555 Trap is a 20 gauge break-action shotgun with a 30″ barrel. It is a one-shot gun, so you load a single round, close the action and shoot. That keeps the handling simple and the routine the same every time you step up to the line.

The long 30″ barrel and the 7.5 lb weight are the first things to notice. Overall length is 47.50″, and the length of pull is 14.75″. The stock has an adjustable comb, so you can set the stock height to match how you mount the gun. The finish is blued, the sight is a bead, and the action and stock layout are ambidextrous. Choke options are C, F and M, and the chamber takes 3″ shells.

Who it suits

This shotgun fits shooters who want a trap-style gun in 20 gauge. It works for a newer shooter learning clay targets and for anyone who wants a plain break-action gun for the trap field. Because the comb adjusts, it can also suit shooters of different builds.

Pair it with 20 gauge target loads, a shell pouch or shooting vest, and a good set of ear and eye protection. A padded case helps with transport to the range. If you plan to practice often, a hand trap or a box of clay targets rounds out the setup.
