Springfield 1911 9.11 Remembrance 9mm Luger Pistol, 4.25″ Barrel

Product Description

The Springfield 1911 9.11 Remembrance is a single-action 9mm Luger pistol with a 4.25″ forged, match grade barrel. It is a commemorative model marking 25 years of remembrance, and it carries the message “We Will Never Forget.”

The frame is carbon steel in the Commander size. The slide has a Satin Black DLC finish. Grips are Reativ Black. Up front you get a wide green fiber optic sight, paired with a fixed serrated rear. The gun uses an external hammer and has a manual safety. A Picatinny rail sits under the dust cover for a light or laser.

What sets it apart

The magwell is a Stan Chen 25 lpi piece, which gives a textured, flared opening for faster magazine changes. The pistol feeds from a single stack magazine holding 9+1 rounds, and one magazine is included. It weighs 42 oz and measures 7.75″ overall, so it has the heft that keeps 9mm recoil mild.

This pistol fits shooters who like the 1911 layout and want a 9mm with a commemorative theme. It works for range days, and it also suits a collector who plans to shoot it. For gear, look at a holster molded for a 1911 with a rail, spare single stack magazines, a quality 9mm Luger practice load, a cleaning kit, and a padded case or range bag.
